2009 base V6 coupe is $6,300 less MSRP than a 2009 base GT coupe. Not sure where you got that $10K figure from. Keep in mind that you get better brakes, bigger wheels & tires, better suspension, 8.8" traction-lok axle, etc. - not just more engine.

I am really baffled by GT owners who think they've got God's ***** under the hood and sneer at the 6-cylinder untermensch. The 4.6 makes a devastating 300 hp. Camaros were making more than that 10 years ago. You have to throw boost at a 4.6 to make LS1 BOLT-ON power. Stick a cam in an LSx and it's over. Boosted LSx? Don't even ask.
We are all on the same team here, all mustang owners....
