Idea is to put the final touches on the '68 Shelby inspired theme I've been working towards.

Kind of like what I did and I am going to do. I have the Cervini's duck tail blended into the body and have the taillights waiting to go in this winter. I got them all painted up satin black to match the black paint I have currently on the car, so that the taillights don't look to out of place.

That sounds very cool. I'm going to do satin black for the surrounds on the Cervinis light, and I'm considering a black chrome finish for the actual lens bezels.

Does you car still look like this ? Awesome Satin Silver !

Just noticed your rear panel, what is that ? I think that's what I am looking for to use with the 2013 Raxiom Lights.

Sounds sweet. Those taillights come apart very easily for painting. I disassembled mine and even resealed the lenses to make sure 100% that there was not going to be any water leaks. I heard that some people had water leaks in them, so I just needed a peace of mind.

I know the frames come off easily (already tried it last night).

How easy was it to open the housings for resealing? Mine seemed stuck together pretty strongly.

Fairly easy. They will come apart with some pulling. The cleaning off of the sealant takes a little more time. Some of the lenses seemd to be stuck on better than others, so I just decided to redo all of them.
