I got my winter wheels and tires put on yesterday. I wasn't planning it, but... Ugh what rollercoaster day of frustration. Long day of work, then on the way home, I curbed a wheel by accident and put a gash in my tire and scraped the wheel. So, I'll have to repaint it and sand it and super glue the flap of rubber.
I wasn't planning doing so soon, but it became a good time to put my winter wheels on. Discount Tire said it's just cosmetic damage, so no new tire needed. Whew.
Then, as I was putting the summer wheels and tires away, I got stabbed in the finger by a staple sticking out of one of the tires....

I redid the stripes on Maxine's hood this weekend. Same style, in a matte gold color (non carbon fiber this time). Will finish up the rear next weekend.
During pics:
For tape lines and cutting, I used this product called Wrap Cut. It's a 1/8 in tape with an embedded cutting line. Much easier than freehanding with an Xacto blade.
