Rocky,

Good Add On! This Is How I Like To See Old Posts. They are Expanded & Made Interesting Again Vs The Old What are You Doing Posting in an Old Thread Non-Sense. Also Consider Topic Titles When a Topic Evolved From a Help Post To a Solved Post or a Incomplete Title, So Others Can Find! Your Topic Merge The Other Day Was Good As Well! Just a Little Learning Post!

We Staff are Tweekers But in a Good Way!

Again Good add On

And This Thread Really Has Some Fine Examples of The Gen1 S-197's

What more can I say Kevin! You've been a very good influence and also continue to be as well, so just giving credit where credit is due.

Thanks guys. I've since re-upholstered the drivers seat with new foam etc. I'm working nights(7-12's) for about 10 weeks and have been sending parts home, so in June (maybe) I can start on new goodies to upgrade the habit. The underside is really clean so I'm removing the exhaust and driveshaft and rear end, detailing the rear end and clear coat it. Wet sand the exhaust and clear coat the painted sections underneath. Replace the driveshaft with an aluminum unit FPP. Should be good.

**** me! That's an impressive car. Looks so good and everything is immaculate. I love it.
I'd be embarrassed to be parked next to you at a cruise in.

Thanks, never be embarrassed. No matter where you go someone will be better and someone will be less better. In everything.

That's true for sure, I'm just the type that when I see something impressive like yours, the details etc, I get into it. I've been places in some of mine where people are just all over it, but I like the one 5 spaces down that might not be that biggest baddest newest, I like it because I'm a car guy and because of what I see someone has done.

I've had a lot of them through the years, multiple Fox bodies and SN95s , 3 S197s, and I'd be gob smacked looking at yours if it was parked next to my current ones at a show or cruise in.

, not a commonly used description for sure. Just popped in my head, you may be a bit younger of a person.

But I would still be in awe of the car, especially that undercarriage if one of my heaps was next to it.

Got the rear end glass beaded and am finishing it with KBS Coatings Diamond Clear Satin. Made the new labels to spec and have the oil based colored markers. Should look good enough.
