Totally agree 100% Tony.. I'd also love having those Alcoa's on my GT, but unfortunately they are no longer in production and I refuse to pay $700-$900 per wheel for Shelby Venice re-productions..
Which wheel?
I would only put Alcoa wheels on a GT500 anyways. That's a Shelby wheel.

We'd be only switching from the Alcoas to the Venice wheels.
She has yet to see another wheel that she'd like other than those 2.
As far as the Alcoa replicas, they're definitely not $700-900/wheel ... that's what the originals were going for.
The American Muscle replicas are $280 a piece right now, in the gray color.
All that having been said, it's amazing how awesome these cars look with a set of Alcoas on them

From my understanding the Venice wheels took the place of the original Alcoa wheels, so I'm not quite understanding how these Venice wheels are the original 07-09 GT500 wheels when it was the Alcoa wheels that were the originals.. At any rate, I'll clarify by stating that what I meant about re-fusing to pay $700-$900.00 for re-production GT500 wheels was directed specifically towards the Venice wheels in which I once again interpreted as being re-production GT500 Alcoa's..
In the meantime, I would also be very interested in knowing the differences between the original GT500 Shelby Alcoa wheels over the Shelby Venice wheels, as they pretty much look exactly identical, at least from what I can tell anyhow

Rocky, you're right, the design is very close.
The Alcoas I deem as the originals, once sold new at about $500/wheel, now going for about $1000+ per wheel.
The American Muscle "Shelby-style" wheels are the ones I call reproductions or replicas, and they're now $280/wheel.
The Venice wheels are $950-1k/wheel, depending on front/rear, and they're basically a chiseled-look version of the Alcoas, but they come in slightly wider sizes and with better offsets so the wheels will tuck in a bit more in the back, so you can run a wider tire.
The Alcoa 20x10 wheel has a 37mm offset, which basically means that the max-width tire that can be run is a 285 without fender contact over bumps, especially on lowered cars.
My fiancee's car has 305/35's on them and she has contact over some bumps.
So yeah, she'd love the Venices since the Venice rears are 20x10.5 with a 50mm offset, so the 305 will fit more square and will tuck in a bit more, so that would eliminate the contact.
As far as design, the Alcoa on the left, Venice on the right:

If you're considering the Venice rims, then it might be worth keeping an eye on the Shelby eBay site. There have been a couple of times when Shelby America has screwed around with the pricing and offered complete sets of the Venice rims (F/R) for around $1500 USD.

I just mentioned the Shelby GT as one of my choices, but if I had to choose between the Bullitt and Shelby GT, I'd more than likely rather have the 08-09 Bullitt due to being the newer model and also because of the revised heads and better spark plug design over the older 2 piece design that were horrible for breaking inside the heads.. I also find the 07-09 GT500 as very attractive as well, but would rather have a 2011 model only because of the lighter weight 5.4L aluminum block over the previous 07-09 cast iron block..

If you really want a 07-09 Shelby I have been watching this one for a little while now. Don't know anything about it, but looks nice in the pics and the mileage is hard to beat.
