Hey that car looks kinda familiar!! Oh, I know, I got one in the garage!
Great car Dave!!
I too was torn between stripes or not, but after getting them, I have no regrets!
I just applied a coat of Zaino I got for Christmas to the hood of my car to test it out, It is simply amazing what it does to a Black car
Enjoy!!

Dave,
Since I see the American Flag in many of your pictures I thought you wouldn't mind if I would share something you might not know about, you said your planing on tire upgrade with BF Goodrich. You might like to know that Goodyear and Cooper are the last two American own American made tires. Buy what you like but check them out at least, they make great tires.
Great Car to bring the new year in with, thanks for the photos.

Mustang Dan - thanks for that info - I didn't know that. Will check out Goodyear too now! (although I really like the tires they had on the auto show titanium GT - hence my interest in BF goodrich..)
Orthoguy - thanks man - and you shouldn't have any regrets - your car looks SWEET!!! (glad its buttoned up for the winter too - all safe and sound - can't wait till I move into my new place next week and I have my GARAGE!!)) If I DO go with stripes, its going to be like yours - match it to the Bullitt wheels. Can;t see doing it any other way. And that Zainos is pretty cool stuff - especially on black. Hoping if I have good weather tomorrow to get additional coats on there.
97svtgoin05gt - that made me laugh out loud - cool! Gonna show your post to them - they'll get a kick out of it!
To you guys and everyone else, thanks for the positive feedback - the car and this site and really helping the year finish out RIGHT. Everyone have a happy and SAFE New Year's Eve!!!

Great looking car.
Now for the hard question: how does it look when it has NOT been freshly washed/wiped down? That is my single greatest issue with getting a black GT. I LOVE the way it looks when it is clean, but a bit of dust (I live in the desert...) and it looks like a brown spotted mongrel. Does the Zaino help let the dust float on by with out sticking?

Hey Dave nice Duo, yes.....still waiting, but it's coming!
I'll have my co-workers in Ft. Lauderdale keep an eye out for you. If a stranger comes up to you and says "Hi Dave, nice Mustang, Tony says Hi" you'll know why

Next morning I came out and there were still some drops collected in the center of the hood that hadn't run off or evaporated, but as far as streaks or water spots... there really weren't any. I was impressed how great the car looked after sitting out in the rain all night. PLus, I've noticed if you get a smudge on the car or something similar, a quick buff out with a clean cotton towel and it comes RIGHT off. Bird droppings? A quick shot of that gloss spray, buff out, and you could never tell the bird hit ya.
So anyway, after two coats, that's my take on Zainos so far. B)
