All for the 18's. Since they wont have them when I get my stang I will be forced to go aftermarket later. Its a good and bad thing a the same time for me.
I would like Ford 18's for factory price, but in a way i'd like more choices aftermarket. Tough call. Getting the Ford 18's sooner can change my mind

With the choices you made in this poll, it will skew the results, because you dont have a choice of aftermarket 18s, and are telling those people not to vote. If this was a choice, it would most likely have a vote count about the same as the availibilty from ford racing, so when you see how many votes the 18s from ford racing gets, in relation to the other options, they seem much more desireable than they really are.

I like the 18's and would prefere them but if they don't have them when I buy, early 05 possibly a vert, then I will go aftermarket lightweight SSR GT1. (18.8lbs) <Ford

I guess I am in the minority; I prefer the look of the 17" wheels. I would get them even if the 18" upgrade were available. I am probably just old fashioned, but I do not care for the low-profile fad. I want some sidewall. Plus, they will cost less now and at each tire change.

I never keep stockers, I can think of 50 better wheels before the fanblades.

I think the question should be:

Should Ford release the 18" wheel option when the 'verts can be ordered mid-year? Perhaps this will give Ford sufficient time to get the wheels and tires ready for some of the MY05 production.

In the end, the marketeers will make the wrong decision. :bang:

I can't believe so many people would actually delay buying the 05' just to get a model with 18"ers. Heck, the larger size is LESS comfortable ride-wise, so I got the bright machined 17"ers -- which I will use for Winter (may not apply to some) -- and preorder 18" Hart Racing rims.

Like I said, who cares about the 18" wheels not included as an option -- you're buying a car and NOT just wheels.

Right now, about 70% of the people who have participated in this poll.

Well still, 30% of anything is a lot, right.
