I was at the autoshow last friday and talk to the guy giving the presentation. Whether this guy knows what he is talking about I'm not sure. Anyway he said that the 18" fan blades are just becoming available for both verts and coupes. When I put in my order on Monday, the dealer said it wasn't in the system yet. The salesman said that we can change the order for up to like 3 weeks without disturbing the build date. Anyways I am hoping this guy is right. The salesman is talking to the ford rep this week hopefully he will have some good news. Then again maybe this guy was total dumb ****. ![Dunno](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif)
EDIT: Oh yeah... ordered a premium torch red gt coupe w/ manual trans IUP and ICAP. Can't wait!

I probably talked to the same guy at the autoshow,
He didn't seem too sure. If it was available on the '05's we would see updated order guides and information on the ford website. Brad has heard it from Hau Thai Tang, and I have myself, meeting him as well, he said the 18" wheels would not be available on MY '05 Mustangs.
I did however talk to the guy at the FRPP counter on the lower level. He stated the fanblades will be available over the counter starting sometime in the spring. They even had an 18" wheel on display with a P/N (which I did not write down
), so for those who want the fanblades right away, I guess this is the closest thing next to waiting until '06

I was told by someone in the basement at the Ford Racing booth that they would be available through their catalog by spring. Not sure of a definite date, but thats what he told me and then showed me the most up to date FR catalog they have, and inside it had black, chrome, and silver bullets, but no blades.

I just ordered a Torch Red GT Convt., and I was naturally interested in the blades. My dealer told me that there had been some kind of problem with them, and they their offering had been scrapped altogether. Anyone heard anything like this?

Talked to the same guy, I managed to score a free catalog. He said the 18" wheels were a last-minute addition and didn't make the catalog.

Just curious.. What did the guy look like. Was he a skinny guy with dark gameshow host-type hair style? I believe brad but it kind of made me mad. You'd think ford would get someone that knows what their talking about at these auto shows.
Also I jut wanted to add: I must admit when I seen the saleens in person I liked them a bit more. All of the SE stangs look better and less gaudy in person. Not that I would spend the extra money on them but still ok.
