In 12 hours I get my car!

I know this is short notice, but I thought I would see if anyone has any advice about what I should look for when I do my first inspection of my fully loaded sonic blue GT (manual) at the dealership.

I know about the exterior things such as paint and molding. Anything else?

Thansk

From other posts it looks like you should check carefully for any lower panel damage perhaps from mishaps unloading off the car transporter. Sounds like several people's new rides have experienced some issues getting unloaded...check the lower panels and trim for rubs/scuff/dents.

Hope all is well...take pics!!!

Definitely check the car all over for any potential scuffs and scratches.

Other than that, anything mechanical, they should fix right away as it is under warranty.

Check to see if any other forum members are from your area and see if they can help you out. Often a person is so excited about getting the car that they cant objectively see the problems. I intend on enlisting some members to help me do an objective inspection of my car after I get it Weds or Thurs.

i got my sonic blue not too long ago, the only problem i had was a scratch on my door handle from it coming off the delivery truck, inspect every exterior part of the body that sticks out to make sure nothing on the delivery truck may have scratched or damaged it....other than that, congrats and the thing you should look forward to is all the attention your gonna get and the thumbs up from other people as they pass you.....

Our vehicles hardly ever get damaged from transport, its usually customers that damage the cars creeping all over them with belt buckles and rings.

The keys. Just kidding. Take it for a test drive and check the alignment. I had a issue with a new car one time where the alignment was badly off.

They pass the Mustang?? Should be the other way around!

Enjoy all the attention you get from people in the slower, more boring cars

Congrats!
