Hate to resurrect an old thread like this, but has anyone done this retrofit? I have been trying to find the part numbers for the seat belts, but cannot dig it up anywhere.

Since the drivers belt in my '06 hardly retracts anymore, I don't have to reach for the belt hardly at all. . .

Be Advised the Bolt threads are Different on the 08 Up Coupe Belts So You Have to Swap out Bolts From Your Old Seatbelts on 07 Back Installs. And They Have Swedged Washers So they Don't Just Slip Off! I know I got an 08 Belt & Was Going to Use it. Stopped after Discovering Bolt Difference! Yep 10 Year Later Info!

Just wanted to say thanks for the info on this.I never messed with the little strap because I didn't know it had any purpose.

Just started using it yesterday and it does make it easier to grab the belt.

Well, My Best Info is the,

2005-Early 2006 Used Both Sides Magnet Button.

Rest of 06 Snaps Both Sides.

2007-2008 Snap Drivers Side Only.

All Gone After That!

I have Never Used Mine on Any of My Cars! I got the Seatbelt Extender Trick
.https://themustangsource.com/forums/...r-neck-404684/

May Try it Now For Giggles!

It would appear 6R3Z-7662187-AC is the OEM part # for the 2006 models which have a snap on the seat switch cover for the seat straps

2006 seat shield cover w/snap

2006 seat strap attached w/snap on seat shield switch cover
