08 need moleskin before tint?
Was thinking about getting the windows tinted on my new 08, and so (of course) read up on here on possible problems...
...and hit dozens of threads talking about moleskin. Reading the info on tintprotector.com, however, I'm wondering if it's needed for the 08 mustangs. I'm checking the little pieces of rubber sticking out of the door that the window comes up from, and there is a felt-like covering on both the inner and outer piece.
Does this mean that Ford finally got around to fixing this little issue, or is the problem that the felt-like stuff on the inside isn't "good enough" to prevent scratching the felt?
Can anyone offer some insight into this? If I'm going to need the moleskin, I need to go ahead and order it ASAP.
Thanks
Gary

Wow, I recall a year ago when I bought my moleskin I was complaining about Ford being cheap for not installing it at the factory. Half the people on the thread were about to bite my head off, saying that I was retarded for "expecting" that on my Mustang. I was also reminded that even Mercedes doesn't do that (which is wrong by the way). Having high expectations is not always a bad thing
