I am new to Mustangs (again LOL), just picked up my 2007 V6 Coupe w/PP on Saturday. The car is VERY unsteady over any bumps in the roads, it jumps up and down and side to side. Sometimes it feels like the whole thing is going to disintegrate. I don't know if it's due to the way the car is designed, or the suspension or the terrible quality of the roads in this city (Toronto), but I'm wondering if this is normal for Mustangs...or is there potentially something rotten in the state of Denmark. LOL

On smooth roads, the car rides great, absolutely love love love it.

Yeah, I would say everything you described is true. It's not the best, but it's not too bad. I've lived with it for 6 years going from a smooth riding '94 Honda Accord.

Yes the roads in Toronto are quite rough but you feel it more if the car is lowered though. Is yours lowered? Also check the tire pressure that maybe too high perhaps?

No it is not lowered. Will check TP.

Also I have no idea if this could be part of the cause but the dealer put the winter tires that came with the car 2 in the back seat and 2 in the trunk. Until I can find someplace that will store them for me I'm wondering how that could affect the ride. Anyway just a thought.

I will have them checked one more time. That's my initial reaction, that they are "wrong". Thanks for the suggestion. I bought the Ford Extended Warranty so I have to check what suspension parts they cover.

The PP almost has the GT suspension. It's tight and firm.
