The ERL told me as of July 28, the vehicle was released from the plant and has an estimated arrival date the week of August 7. Hope it gets here faster!

The car came in yesterday, and I will be driving it away today! Woo hoo!! In addition, the $500 rebate will apply.

What did you have to do to get the $500 rebate? I thought that was only on 2006 models.

I did nothing other than take delivery after the date this rebate became available (a couple of days ago). I was looking for a post from ISELLFORD where I thought he detailed the provisions. I think this applies to any Mustang GT delivered between now and early October, 2006, whether 2006 or 2007.

That is a possibility. I live about 240 miles away from the plant. It literally is turn right on to I75 and head south to Cincinnati.

Thanks! It is the CDC classic chin spoiler. I can't wait to see what it looks like either. That part, the Street Scene ducktail spoiler, and the car go in on Monday, 8/7, and should be back on Tuesday afternoon, 8/8.

I posted some photos in this thread and more in this Yahoo photo album. I was not really careful with the lighting when taking these, but I was preoccupied with actually driving the car! What a neat Mustang!!
