'06 with steel wheels from the factory

If any of you have one, those wheel covers are also shown in the 2006 Mustang brochure from the dealer. My dealer recently mailed me one since it was not available at the time of purchase.

Actually, if you throw a trim ring on it, a center cap and some nice lugnuts, that may make a poor mans blackout rim.

Inetersting, I need some winter wheels, I have seen stock 17" bullits going for 500 on ebay, that was my planned route. I wonder what cost is on these. I think tho for the little more it may cost, the ebay bullits will look better.

My mistake, I didn't think Ford would put hubcaps on the new Mustangs... kinda dissappointing- I've never seen one though

Just another dig at us V6 owners.. Now we must prove we dont have hub caps!! Will this ever end! LOL!!
Its like there are two factions inside of Ford Motor Co.. One says, the 05+ V6 Mustang will be the best V6 Stang of all time.. The other one is so threatened by the situation, he includes steel wheels with hub caps, to dumb down the situation.. We're all humilitated by this situation.. LOL!!

I think this is the basic rim that underlies the hub cap on the 'standard' Mustang - a real bare bones car. They ought to offer a bare bones GT.

They should come out with a Mustang RS.. This is a V6 Mustang with everything a GT has accept the motor.. Even has the 8.8 rear-end, with T-LOK.. This way, V6 guys could go straight for a blower or a turbo instead of the need to upgrade the rear-end and suspension before blower upgrades..

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the 16"s would clear the GT brakes.

Yeah, I had thought about that later after I posted.
