I'm ready to order my 06 Tugsten GT on X-plan , but I have just one question. I want to recieve my car in mid to late November. I should have all the money I want saved for my down when that month comes around. I know this is a crap shoot, but when do you guys think I should order . I'm in Los Angeles and ordering from a smaller sized dealer if this makes a difference.

 

A lot depends on what priority the dealer will give your x-plan order, as well as their allocation. If he has a bunch of orders he prioritizes ahead of yours, better order now!

My order (not x-plan) was a priority 11 from a dealer's smaller satellite location. I ordered 6/11 and have a build date of 8/22. I could take delivery perhaps before the end of September. That's still about 3 1/2 months.

 

Order it NOW! We are a moderately high volume dealer that has 13 06 GT's on order. First 06 was ordered in April and has a Aug 22 build date!

 

I realize this would be better posted under "Regional", any tips on Canadian orders. I just left a deposit earlier this week for 06 Pony Package. I'll be regularly talking to the dealer from now until late August. Apparently, they can only place the order in August. Not really sure why Canada is different.... eh?
