Did you have to ask Teri to not put on the front license plate mount or do they only do that if you ask? I want to keep my front end clean, at least until I get my first ticket.

Congrats Jamie, Extremely jealous but proud also. Many kudos to Teri for doing the decklid swap, that was AWESOME! You showed 'dem boys how its done! But shame on Ford for letting it leave the factory that way. Could it still be true what they say about cars being built on Monday?

It was probably an isolated incident, but ever the paranoid one, I PM'd Kzinti over on BON to see if he can get prod someone at AAI to triple check our spoiler deletes before they leave the plant. Not sure it will make any difference, but can't hurt to try. Teri, if you know anyway/anyone from your side of things that has a contact at AAI, I'd appreciate it. I'm sure you would appreciate not having to do a bunch of swaps again the end of October!

Nothing really - didn't mean to get you worked up. You never heard that old wives tale about "you shouldn't buy a car built on a Monday or a Friday" ??? I really don't think that's true any more (and AAI runs six days a week, besides). But...Imatk's car was built on a Monday and came with the wrong spoiler, so...???? Just pure coincedence I'm sure - really.

But someone just asked Kzinti on BON about it today, so check out over there what he says whether that rumor is still true or a bunch of hooey.

 

That old wives tale is funny. When my wife's mom found out our car might be built today, she said, "you don't want a car built on Monday." I had never heard it before.

I'm sure Jamie's problem was just a coincedence like Chris said.

 

Whew, was worried there for a minute. Gotta love them old wives tales. "Looks like somebody's got a case of the Mondays." Hehe.

Shannon's car arrived last night at "Hadley Trucking",,should've been here this am, but will definetely be here tomm.am(actually arrives tonight). I got off work at 3pm but will be driving back at 9pm to watch it get unloaded.
I can't wait to deliver #2 of the Teri "6".
Then #3,#4,etc!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

That's great news. I bet Shannon isn't going to sleep a wink tonight. I know I won't the night before I get my baby.

Here's Teri and I with my new baby. It's even better than I expected. Beautiful color, great wheels, etc. I took my first test drive as I drove her off the lot. Is that crazy? Oh well, I was not disappointed. Good luck everyone. It's well worth the wait!

 

Way to go Unbridled! She looks great! I love that color/wheel combo. Lets see some more pics as soon as you stop driving her around town.
