I know this has been posted about 100 times but I was wondering if anyone knows if the 06 has the same hardware needed for the Global Down feature or did they remove the system completely, it is probably just a programming issue so it should be able to be reactivated by a dealer who is willing to do so.

Hi SwatskeGT well if you have an 06 the global open feature is still not working , the software hasn't changed , Ford has removed some componets inside thee fuse box for thisd feature , yes o5 mustangs built up untill the end of april can still get the feature turned back on , but after that the the fuse box partnumber was changed
sorry for the bad news

Your close Mark.
Mine was built on April 27th.
The feature was deactivated when I got her.
The dealership reactivated (I watched over the guys shoulder as he did it) and it does not work. He said that the modules had been changed/removed recently.

well if it is just a matter of a fuse missing... can't we just add that fuse back in and get it working.

Mine was also built 4/27 and could not be reactivated. I was bummed. But since I got a convertible I have a button on the inside that opens all the windows at once.

chabbz182 is yours an 06 or 05. If it is an 06, there is still hope. Or someone with a dealer service manual should be able to figure out what is needed, and add the parts etc. good luck to all. I have an 06 on order so would be interested in the results of adding or reactivating. later all
