i just got my january edition of HOT ROD and it has a 05 GT runnin in the 12's........no nitrous......... they dyno'd it and here's the results.......
BEFORE AFTER
max torque.300.9 max torque.318.9
max hp.274.9 max hp.299.5

here are the mods......... springs, shocks, coilover front struts, and rear upper and lower three-link control arms were replace with lighter and more dragstrip friendly parts.
all the brakes were converted to lightweight wilwoods.the stock bolt pattern remains 5-on-4.5,but small rotors are required to fit the Weld 15 inch drag wheels.
they swapped they stock rearend from 3.27's to 4.30's gears and an eaton carbon-fiber-clutchlimited slip and beefed up the rearend with custom moser 31 spline axles and ford racing aluminum cover.
for the front sespension they adapted 94-04 mustang tokico illumina five way adjustible struts with coilover sleeves and 2.5 inch coilover springs to reduce weight and allow a 4 inch dropped front ride height.
the stock airbox was replaced witha
PHP cold ait intake that requires relocating the mass air sensor element into the inlet elbow.the kit also includes a heat shield.
they put a set of underdrive pulleys for the crankshaft damper and water pump.
they also put an X pipe on it.

ask me for more info if u want.
