winter drop top storage?
Well I need help.This is my first drop top car and I'm not sure what to do with the top over winter.Do I lock it closed or leave it unlocked to save seals. Stored indoors, 1995 gt. Thanks Z

All right here is the story from a museum my me. The guys there till me to just unlock the top to let the seals relax over are long MI. winter also drop the windows a little to do the same thing.Last clean all seals so when spring hits its good to go.

Stored mine for 3 previous years. Unlock the top, losen windows, hood trunck, disconnect battery. Also place moth ***** in trunck, under hood and inside to preven mice from making ahome as well as steel wool in the tailpipes. Baking soda inside eliminates the musty smell and cover it with a good quality breathable cover. Kiss her good night and tuck her in until spring. I live in Ontario Canada where it gets cold and snowy.
