I am looking to replace the slightly yellowed headlights in my 95 Gt. They do not look horrible yet, but night time visablity is down and I hate the fact that the car is otherwise clean looking with the dingy headlights. I think I want a set of 94-98 cobra lights. But I think they are over priced new. I am also wanting to pick up some new corner marker lights as those are showing some wear too. Just about everything on ebay is those aftermarket euro rice burning looking things, some of which I like the looks of others I don't. I have seen some that are headlight and marker light combined in one piece like the 99+ stangs. I like that idea for something different, but I am a little afraid of the aftermarket units mostly because my brother has been burned twice on them for his Focus, once from ebay. units melt on the inside when used. Anybody with some experience with these, or know of anybody that has a set of cobra lights for sale? Maybe I will just get some new stock ones...

50resto.com has some headlight kits. They seem to stand behind their products:

There is also a plastic and headlight resurfacing kit at the bottom of the page if you don't feel like spending as much. Hope this helps!

You're welcome. I almost forgot theres this stuff called GS-27 (I think) It comes in a tube and works pretty well on yellowed lenses. You can probably find it at any service place or maybe even lowes or home depot.

I have used polish and scratch remover on them before which is why i think they still look halfway decent. it is tempting to try the and use that resto kit, but I think i will be better of just replacing them. thing is I just spent $700+ on the rearend and I am a little gun shy about dropping any major dollars on it right now. Might just need to wait until next month and buy the cobra headlights...I will have to buy marker lights anyway, they are craking from the inside out so I don't see any hope for them.
