.........nah, not a Cobra or a Mach 1 or a GT, just a smile.

It was a nice day so I went to a Ford dealer downtown (where I was at the time) to take a used 03 GT Torch Red Convertible for a drive. Great weather, top down....it was fun. And the sales guy didn't say a word about me driving for 25 minutes.

Man, all the looks you get in a Torch Red vert. Really enjoy riding around in a vert. Almost enough to make you buy one.

My V8 urge was satisfied for this week. Pretty soon I'll have driven every car in Southern Ontairo. They're goinna have my picture in dealers saying "Don't let this sick test driving pervert take advantage of you".

Hehe....I loved it alright, but I love the coupe more. It was fun, but I'm a hardtop guy and that'll never change.

Maybe I'll find a girl with a vert stang?

Dan you just need to stop! I also agree ... I couldn't test drive a car that much and not come home with SOMETHING.

Also, I love a vert, but the 4 Valve V-8 is so much more fun ... Just don't go drive a Cobra Vert

Steve, you just need to make sure I don't drive a Cobra. I'd never buy a current GT over the new car. It was such a nice day I couldn't resist. And I'm SURE i'm the reason they have "no test pilots". But seriously, I am going to buy a new stang from Ford, I at least deserve a few fun test drives.

George, so far I have about 8 "local" ford dealers, each of which has only seen me once.

 

Heck ya 38special...I changed it 30 min after I got her home and took pics,LOL!!
