Top Power for a N/A 2V?

Just bored here.....

Is it possible to make 400 rwhp on a Street Legal N/A(no spray...nothin) 4.6L 2V?
How bout 350?

What would it take to reach the 300, 350, 400 marks N/A?

I'm figuring cams and heads would be a must(possibly ported & polished), but I guess I'm lost on what it would take to reach each of those plateaus!

I'll look for some set-ups online, and see their results.

Thanks!

350 N/A will require P&P heads, probably a bullitt intake P&P and port matched to teh heads, stage 3 cams (new springs and valves as well), and a big bore/stroker shortblock. You might can get close with the 302 stroker, but the 324 would be alot easier.

I think to get 400, you are better off going 4v although with teh above combo, you might get between 350 and 400

What would it take to reach 325?

Stage 2 VT heads
Stage 2 VT cams(new springs/valves)
Headers, mids, exhaust
CAI/RAI, Throttle Body, Plenum
Pullies
Tune

Would that combo come close to 300-325? Would it be streetable....I'm considering something similar. I'd like to be in the 300-325 range N/A.

That's not too radicle for the street. I wouldnt recommend it for everyone, but I dont think you'd have a problem driving it every day. It looks like you'd be pretty close to your goal with that combo too.

Any idea how much it would cost for parts and labor for the heads and cams?

I've heard estimate of about 4.5K for parts and labor for heads and cam install. Then it was like 4.7K for parts and labor for a basic supercharger install.

I could be wrong.....but both are close in price, but the power gains differ.
