I would say 4-5psi, but you could probably get away with 6-8 for a good while.

I dynoed at 10psi and have gone 15,000+ miles since my SC was installed. I have about 50 passes at the drag strip. 40 laps at Barbers Motorsport Park. 10 laps at Talladega (topped out at 171). I have had NO problems, but I also have a conservative tune. (I have seen 14# of Boost on cold nights).

10 psi is fine for a 2v with tune ive seen people with 130000
Miles boosting hard with stock internals just get a good tune

tacbear's is 381 to the wheels at 10 psi so 340 at the wheels probably at 6-8psi. Somewhere in that range

Thats what Id do on a 2V. The OP has a 5.0 though and 6-8 is a good safe level on stock internals.

Well I have a stock 302 block bored .40 over to 308, edelbrock performer heads, performer intake, stage 1 cam, stock crank and rods, with new cast aluminum pistons and when I ordered the shortblock it said for N/A use. But my buddy is selling his vortech from his 95 gt, I just wanna see what you guys think?

I think you would be fine with it. Your compression is probably a little high for you to run alot of boost but its not gonna hurt anything. I still say you'd be good to around 300 or so

With a 3.6" pulley(about 7-8psi), stock plastic intake pipe, 36# injectors and conservative tune will get you 340-360hp. With the 3.33" pulley, Power Pipe, 42# injectors and good tune (about 9-10psi) you should get you between 380 and 400hp. A 2v 4.6 won't live long pushing over 420 hp.
