Shocks and struts

So I need to replace my shocks and struts.. But my question is if I have to do anything else while I'm replacing this or if I need to buy anything else other than just the shocks and struts to replace them..

Make sure the new shocks and struts come with new dust covers... you can reuse the old ones but they may be fragile with there age.

Well I'm thinking of getting the tokico shocks and struts from AM.. I'm not sure if they come with them or would I have to get them separate

They don't. Those are the ones I have. I mean you could reuse the stock ones. That's what I did.

check out Sam Strano's web site to see if the koni's are still on sale for right around 300, They are a step above the tokico's

Is it a good idea to replace the shocks and struts even though my car is lowered yet but I plan on lowering it in the near future? The reason I ask is because my shocks and struts are pretty much done
