Of course I love playing my my 03 but I also don't want to hurt it. At what point does high rpms hurt the engine?

the tach has a redline for a reason, stay below it. don't bang the limiter, and don't cruise the highway at high rpms for long durations

Keep it just below the redline if in stock form. Cranks, rods, and even valve springs dont like excessive high revs. Also, by the time you get to redline, you are gonnna be out of your optimum power band anyway.
