Rusted Spoiler Bolts

I noticed when I bought the car, that two of the four bolts which hold the factory spoiler on where rusted and loose. Is it possible to simply replace the bolts or do I have to replace the whole spoiler?

See if the un-rusted bolts fit. If so, go to the hardware store and look for thread of bolt with same girth in stainless. Then cut to length. I like to put a bolt on all the way, before I cut it down, then use the bolt to un-do the damage to the thread at the cutting point.

I do not see why you couldn't replace the bolts. I am trying to remember when I fitted the spoiler to my 2000 if there were captive nuts in the spoiler....I do not thing there were, I think you screwed straight into the fibreglass.

good luck!
