I have seen the removeable hard top offered by some company in an automotive mag. I can't remember what mag or who does it. I need to know becase the crappy fabric is falling apart and my rear window is falling into the car. I don't want to get rid of it but I also dont want to pay a grip to get it fixed just to have to pay for it to be fixed again another 3-4 years down the road. Please tell me someone has seen this too. I need to know where to go. I'm kinda desperate. If I can't find it and the repair is to costly I am going to have to get rid of my pony. Email me at area51rej@hotmail.com if anyone has any ideas. Please!!!

This is the link to putting a Targa top on your mustang, not sure if this is what you're asking for though?

The regular price is $2,599.00, the introductory price is $1,999.00. There are up grades for the windows and interior finish as well as an optional rear window defroster, with four interior colors available and come ready for paint. There are none in stock. Delivery is projected at six to eight weeks from the order date.

It looks as if the price is competitive and it does compare to the Thunderbird's optinal hardtop cost from Ford.

If it was the same price as buying an entire convert. top, I'd buy it... But 2599 is double what it costs for a convert. top

It's based on it... but it still looks pretty good with the quarter panel scoops...

That's a pretty steep price for that top. I got quoted at
$500 for my top replacement. It's nice but you won't be able to drop the top whenever you want to. Especially if it's a really nice day. just lookin at the pros and cons.

One pro is that you get to keep the soft top as well as have the hard top. But, you still have the wear and tear of it.

Something tells me they are working on a new hardtop for the 94-98 series. I have seen them hit my website (http://blog.fryguy.net/2011/01/16/19...p-convertible/) many times today to check out my original 2-top Cobra. Curious as to see what they are up to.

Their site does say they are working on a Cobra Style hardtop, so we shall see.
