So found yet another monster in my car. It had a eclipse double din in it. It needed the map disk so it would turn on but would not play. But it kept power all the time mind you. So I took it out hooked up a alpine I had. Turned key on unit turned on and all speakers play. Was gonna go for a ride pushed in clutch power went off radio. Let off clutch power came back. It made a small popping noise. Unplugged radio. No popping noise. Wired eclipse back up. Came on stayed on. Darn gremlins.

 

Check the ground wire.

 

All wires were tight no corrosion anywhere everything looking good I believe it may have been a low battery. The car starts all that runs but when stereo is on bc if the amps it shuts it off when clutch pushed in bc draws too much. Will find out when I get new battery
