Power Window not working

I am trying to pinpoint a power window problem with a 2003 Mach 1. The problem is intermittent, sometimes the drivers side window will not go down, you just hear a click. It has never failed to go up, just down. When it was under warranty I took it in for this and the dealer replaced the window motor but I was never convinced it was the problem. Now it has been about 1 year and it has started again, sometimes it will work, sometimes it wont. I don't know if its just a coincidence or just my imagination but the problem always seems to be in the afternoon when its hot out and not in the morning when its cool, I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. Anyone experienced this problem or have any suggestions. Thanks for any help.

I seem to be having the same exact issue with my 03 GT. Happened once before and just happened yesterday afternoon when it was hot. This morning, it worked fine.

Haven't had my battery disconnected since last summer. I used to have a grand prix that used to do this to but at least it had 4 doors so I could still get some air into the driver's side.
