What's up everyone? My 02 gt just threw a p1151 trouble code!! I know it's something with a 02 sensor,that's all I know. Does anybody know where the sensor is located, can I get the sensor at a local parts store? Is it a costly fix? Easy fix? Any advice/guidance is greatly appreciated as always.

I'm pretty sure that is bank 2 sensor 1. O2 sensor passenger side before the converter. Could be just a sensor. May also be and upper intake gasket on that side. Easy way to diag intake leak: let engine idle while engine is still pretty cold. Pour water over the mating surface of the upper plenum. Where the aluminum and plastic meet and the bolts. If the motor starts missing a bit or you hear vacuum sucking in water, its intake. Shouldn't hurt anything doing this. If no change from the water, probably just sensor.

 

Bank 1 is where your cylinder#1 is bank 2 is opposite side. Sensor 1 is upstream (before cat). Sensor 2 is downstrem (after cat). Go down to your local auto parts store. They WILL give you a print out.
