New Edge with N2O
New Edge with N2O
im just curious about adding a nitrous kit to a new edge gt... i plan on buying my first mustang this spring (cant wait). but im just curious if a small 75 shot would be worth it. i saw they did up to a 200 shot on a stock motor on an 05-09 gt on horsepower tv. of course i plan on adding more than just nitrous to the stock motor, but im just wondering what you guys think.
You thinking of a wet or dry kit? With a 75hp shot you shouldn't need a specific tune. As far as it being worth it to add a small shot . . . . depends the manner in which you intend to use and location of a shop to refill.
Dry systems feed only nitrous into the intake. It's usually fed before the throttle body and MAF.
Wet systems feed nitrous and fuel into the intake. It's usually fed using a plate located after the throttle body or fed directly into each intake runner.
Wet systems support the most power but are also the most expensive.

Im not looking for ***** to the walls power. I'm not racing. It's just for the little boost when needed :-). So dry would probably be the way to go for me.
