hey guys first post. I am going to look at a '01 gt deluxe convertible. the picks look really good its stock except an aftermarket stereo.

what I'm looking for is a little whelp as to what to look for as far as problems go. any help would be appreciated.

it's an 01 GT vert with 80k. stick.

look for body panel alignment. Feel inside the rear quarter panels for seems. There shouldn't be any unless they were replaced. Look for gasket sealer on the engine to see if it was ever apart. Look under side of the engine and trans for oil leaks. Look at the rotors and see if they have and nasty grooves in them or have abnormal wear. Check the tires for abnormal wear. See if the insides are worn the same as the outside tread. Look at the tac while the car is idling, make sure it holds steady.
