MSD Ready to run distributer

Okay so I am trying to install a MSD Ready to run distributer and I've watched all of the install videos I could find online. Now I went step-by-step, marked my rotor placement and it looks exactly placed like the stock distributer. But I must have done something wrong because now my car won't start. It cranks and back-fires, I know it must be out of time now. My question is does anyone have a link on a how to video on how to find TDC and time a '95? This will be my first time timing anything so a crash course would be much appreciated.

Did you get the correct firing order?

I'm pretty sure I did, but now I went and bought a new timing light so when I can get a friend to come over and crank her I'll start from scratch. I prolly need to tune the timing anyway. Now I think I found the timing marker but I'm not sure because it's under the car and it kind looks like a mounting bracket
