More power on the way
Only 8 lbs. of boost. Mods before included BBK shorty headers, BBK 78mm throttle body/plenum, BBK CAI, Comp Cams Stage II cams, Typhoon intake manifold, Magnaflow X-pipe and catback exhaust. The race tune requires racing fuel, so I'm happy with 408. You can't see the top color very well. It's a dark blue with pearl in it, so when you look at it just right it shifts from the blue to purple with a thin stripe of black to separate the blue and silver.

Stout, block yeah internals no. He is running it close. with '03 cobra internals or decent forged stuff those blocks can push 800 no prob. I'd be nervous on the stock stuff.

We pushed boost on mine but didn't advance the timing that far. As a matter of fact it's first dyno with advanced timing put out 505 so we backed it off.
So kind of the opposite.

PSI and SCFM are what you look for. I'm maxed out on boost not SCFM. Nice 2.9 whipple would give me more power with less PSI. Turbo set up usually allows more airflow which is why gains are a bit higher. Procharger numbers are usually lower than Vortech and Paxton. Procharger's big sales tactic is that intercooler which can be bought separately and used on any kit. Not a big procharger fan.

It's easier to blow things up if not mapped correctly (as is the case with ANY forced induction application) but if planned and reviewed then re-reviewed multiple times and built carefully one piece at a time, it will be way more efficient than a supercharger. Wonder of that's why Porsche has used turbos instead of Superchargers?
