If you remember the project repair/buildup that we did for one of our customers The Sickness project .......Now it's happening again. This one though is my personal car so it's going to be an after hours project at the shop....I picked up a '95 GT Convertible that had been wrecked in the front end and then someone "attempted" a repair and to call that attempt "poor" would be an understatement....it was a joke in my opinion....so we removed the half **** "repaired" front cage and will rebuild this car the right way. Here are pics of the car when I first got it some time ago and as of today when we gutted it in preperation for the new front cage....
The car is going to be built with a few subtle mods and changes and will be painted mineral grey. I am building this one as a new daily driver for my wife so we can retire the 7up '90 vert to occasional duty.

Awesome! can't wait to see this one finished.
What all mods are you planning?

What all mods are you planning?
Engine: Cobra intake, GT40 heads, headers....nothing radical
Body: Cobra front bumper cover, Cobra R hood, Saleen S281 rear spoiler, '96 taillights
Wheels: Anthracite Bullitts or FR500's....10.5" rears & 9" wide fronts
I am going to shave the antenna off the car as well and we may tweak some other things on the body...

Glad to see the project getting started Paul. I know this is one you've been wanting for awhile.
Are you going to at least go with a Ford letter cam for a mild lope or anything? I think that magnaflow setup Flashbang had on his vert would be awesome on this car as well.

The repair job on the front end was scary. How anyone could say that was repaired with a straight face makes on shudder!
Atleast we know this one will be put together correctly!
I'm curious to find out if that passenger rear quarter is a coupe that was hacked or a newer vert quarter!
