Lowering Springs for 97 Mustang GT

Looking to lower the car because the stock wheel gap is too much. Not too knowledgeable in the field of suspension, and I'm in the need of help. After doing some research, I'm leaning towards a 1.5 inch or more drop. What's the best route to go? Steeda, H&R, SR performance?? Thanks for the help in advance!

I went with an eibach pro kit. Its just enough to where the wheel gap isnt as bad but i dont need caster, camber plates or a bumpsteer kit. I personaly wish i would have gone with the sportline but if your looking for something moderate iebach isnt a bad way to go.

Here is one, of a couple reviews from our site, specific to the 97 GT:

I installed these springs on my 1997 Mustang GT. The stance was beautiful, but did not compare to the ride. The linear rate allowed my car to ride comfortably when I was running about, but firmed up when I was at the track. The performance continued to improve with speed and the springs would drop an additional 1/4" over 220km/h. I would definitely recommend these springs on any SN95 model. - See more at: http://www.steeda.com/steeda-mustang....zr05bEaO.dpuf
They are a great choice as we focus on the Mustang ... where other companies may have other OEMs they are making springs for.

You won't be disappointed in Steeda ... let me know if I can help assist with pricing & order support ... you can reach me at tim@steeda.com.

Best Regards,

TJ

Hey Raymen,

Deciding which spring to go with is definitely not easy and you have a list of some pretty awesome springs there!

Personally, my favorite would be the SR Performance Lowering Springs.

The "bang for your buck" that you get with them is unbeatable, especially when they are on sale (as they are now ).

They look great, ride great, and don't burn a hole in your wallet!

I ran them personally on my 2004 GT and had no complaints, I loved them!

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

-Will
