Lowering my vehicle
If you mean 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" inches, then no, there's nothing to worry about, but I'd read this thread before I bought springs...

If you go too low you have a harder time aligning the front end without Caster/Camber plates, and also run the risk of your shocks/struts leaking due to the possibility of (stock shocks and struts) not being designed for use with lowering springs.
What springs (manufacturer) are you looking at for your car?

Because lower is lower, the basic suspension components are the same, and so are the challenges of a lowered car. Besides, he only wants to go 1/2 an inch (12-14mm's).

Like it was said before, you get all the issues of having a lowered car. I put on Steeda Sport Springs cause I didn't want to go too low. I have Longtube headers and an X-pipe and I hear them scrape every time I have to go over a speed bump. And my poor chin spoiler has a little rash on the bottom side
But I digress.. you pretty much have to lower these cars, otherwise they're a freaking 4x4

I have the Eibach Prokit and Bilstein S/S. My cats scrape occasionally, if I don't go slow enough over speedbumps, and my chin spoiler is trashed from my driveway. Yet, I want to go lower. I've been wanting to get the full coilover kit for...forever. By the way, my springs say they lower 1.5", and IMO it's a pretty good compromise for looks/performance.
