Lowering my GT
What's the beat way to lower my 00 GT I was going to order lowering springs, but had someone that has lowered several mustangs, tell me that cutting one coil from all springs gives a better ride

Dont cut your springs the ride will be like crap. Cutting springs just lowers the stance but does nothing to stiffen the ride for better habdling and braking. Get a nice progressive rate springs like eibach pro kit. I installed some steeda springs on a buddys car and they rode really smooth amd handled well, just didnt lower it as much as others. I always put eibachs on my own cars

Its hard to judge the spring rate when lowering you car. The best way to do it is to get a good set of lowering springs. H&R, steeda, eibach, ford racing, even ebay brands are better then cutting the coils.

I lowered my '04 GT with Eibach Pro-kit springs and Pro-damper shocks and struts. Really improved handling and appearance.

Where I get all my parts from, look at getting the SVE lowering springs, I have those and it dropped my 2003 GT 3 inches. These springs are only $100.
