Okay guys,

I have a question for you. I've asked around but all in vain. Where would one be able to get an aftermarket 5.8 liter for less than 20G? In other words, a fuel-injected 5.8 liter capable of squeezing into the bay of a 2000 GT.
And the Jeopardy theme song begins to play.....

It'll fit, but if I'm not mistaken, when Ford went modular in the Mustang in '96 they also changed the front undercarriage. You'd have to find a '94-'95 to fit. I think the motor mounts are in different locations.

Your right skip they did change it so you will have to find a 94-95 front undercarriage

Ford racing sells the 5.8 EFI...Just get one from thier..And it's under 10K.

Personally I'd rather have the Cammer though.

just get a k-member from a 94-95 car. The k-member should bolt right up I believe. then everything should be a fairly easy fit. Besides you will more than likely run a tubular k-member in a swap like this and I am sure some manuf. Have some custom ones made for doing swaps things like that.
