Intake Manifold

I'm going to order a Ford Racing Performanc Improvement Intake Manifold for my 1999 Fo Mustang GT from AmericanMuscle.com and it says that it Requires a new factory style gaske t's actually vital to actually buy a new factory it's actually vital to actually buy a new factory style gasket or can I just do without it???

No you need a new one, the old one peels and gets old over time... I mean the cars 12 years old...

No matter how new the gasket or seal is, if you remove it, it's always good policy to replace with a fresh one, straight out the package! You'll sleep better!

That's true. Thanks alot, I appreciate the help. I start all of this work on Monday, never done ot before but DIY is the way to go, definitely have to start somewhere.

yep, any gaskets pretty much. They're not usually not too expensive relatively, and it's better just to get a new one.

Thanks. I bought one from latemodelrestoration.com and got a good deal on an intake manual, gasket, alternator bracket for a little over $200 now gonna put it on. Wish me luck bro.
