Weird question, but does that 2003 GT have the Mach mp3 stereo and the Interior Upgrade Package with an automatic transmission?

i know in my area here in the north east dealers are advetising 04's for 22,000 with 3000 rebate and a 1500 rebate from the dealer , so after all of that you can get an 04 for 17,500 brand spanking new. how can you beat that. they know that with the gas prices and the possibility of the 05 being on the lot in a few months that they must get rid of the 04s. One dealer ship even has a deal where you buy a new car and you get 3 days and 3 night hotel and air fare to orlando. cant beat that new mustang and a small vacation for $17500

Why would the insurance be so much more on an 04 as opposed to a used 03? Seems like if you can get a GREAT price on an 04 with the rebate, then you'd be better off and have the full warranty.

of course, you're also slowly creeping your base price for the car up. Don't get too excited, hit a few used cars dealers. Is there a Carmax in your area?

Y'know Machs are selling for 22-23k now. Next year you could get the '03 for 19-20-ish. Once the '05 comes out, the Machs should start popping up again.

That's when I'll be popping up too.

hehe

At this point, I want a top model(03-04 GT,Mach 1) then go for an 06-07 GT or SE.

But patience and my car staying in one piece are my alies......so haste makes waste in this market(especially for my situation).

No, it doesn't...it has the basic ONE CD AM/FM radio.

And DJ, there is no carmax around here, or atleast I have never heard of one? What is it?

Only time will tell, my car is in the shop until Monday. My mom and I agreed that if the repair was over 400$ again on it, she will just trade it in this week. No questions asked, she says she is tired of putting money into this car, and hates the fact that I hate the car :notnice:

So Monday is the deciding day!

Ah, but you see, the plain Mach system is a one CD stereo. Its only special quality is its ability to play mp3's. It's unlike any of the other stereos. So yeah, it could still very well be my old one you're looking at. Was that a no on the IUP and automatic transmission also?

It's like a REALLY big huge car dealership that is run much like a new car dealership would be. Just really, really big. They normally have at leats a few Mustangs in at any one time.

Are you in Az? That's where I am from, unless they shipped it out of state? Which I don't see why they would do that? I love the car...(if it was your old one, did you baby it?) but if they won't budge they ain't getting my business!!

No, I'm in South Carolina. It ending up there isn't totally out of the ordinary though.

If you get it, that car is magic. I got it with about 1,000 miles on it (since it had to be brought to Charleston from somewhere in Georgia after having been delivered there from somewhere else), so not a lot of breaking in was needed. I babied it big time, and it did crazy shiz I didn't think a car could do in return. His name is Morpheus, take good care of him if he becomes yours.

You should give him a vin # so he can check. That would be pretty cool if it is your car.

So how much do you think an 04 Mustang GT Convt. would go for with all these rebates, also with the new 05 coming out, and any $$$ I can haggle off?

Like I said, that car was magical. The dealer obviously sensed it.

Or he had no idea of the epic nature of Morpheus and just wanted a lot of money.
