How much Horsepower should this free up?

I just ordered ASP's smog pump eliminator pulley bracket and Ford Racing's A/C eliminator kit from Summit, not a bad price 127.00 for both. My question is with me eliminating my A/C and smog pump how much horsepower do you guys think this will free up?

nill, has in very little. one of the most talked about subjects for years with the fox. plenty of google info on it but really in truth not a whole lot of gains from it. most of the parasitic loss is from the w/p, alt and powersteering vs the smog and A/C ( which cuts off at wot) some guys run a very short belt at the track to just spin the w/p or the w/p,alt and bypass everything else but really for everything else not a big performance mod.

Eliminator pulleys are a joke IMO. You should re-route your belt so you can use a shorter one. This means that the belt is doing less total work. The eliminator pulls will maybe give you 10 horses but if you re-route with a shorter belt you will get more gains.

Its usually not the hp people are after for that stuff, but the weight loss from ditching the emissions and AC stuff.

I'd be surprised if it were as high as 10hp, more like 3-5hp.
