My friend has a '96 Cobra and was wondering where to find out the number of the car. Also, where would the build sheet be located? I know sometimes they put them in the doors or under the seats.. anyone have any good leads?

To get the build number, just take the last 6 digits of the VIN and call Ford SVT and ask them for it. They will give you what you need.

With a car that old, I doubt the build sheets are still with it. You can request new ones through SVT.
