I have stock headlights on my 96 still, and would like to upgrade soon.

Does anyone have a black car with blackouts so I can see how it'd look?

I was also considering projection headlights. Has anyone used them? Any photos?

I may just get silverstars, but I wanted to look at all options.

I am not a fan of blackouts at all. Personally i've seen some of the diamond clear headlights/side lights and they look awesome. But now you can get them in smoked and they look very very sweet! check out http://www.50resto.com for some samples

Check out www.50resto.com, they have a bunch of different headlights for your model. As for black outs they are more trouble than they are worth. You have to attach them usually with velcro, then remove then for night driving. Plus most municipalities frown upon them too and make you take them off. I had them on my 87 and ended up getting rid of them within 6 months.

Heres a link for 50resto:

I used to have some blackouts on my 88, but that was back in highscool and they were kind of popular then. Visibility is cut way down at night if you leave them on, but at least on that body style the fogs put out enough light to at least see the road. I tried them on my 95 only because I got my hands on a set of them for free and it was terrible. Almost no visibilty, due mainly to the fogs on the sn95 being there mainly for looks. Maybe if I put some of those brighter bulbs in, but that is doing too much just for blackouts, besides there are not exactly in fashion anymore anyway.
One thing I know that you used to be able to get because I had them over my 88s fogs was clear covers. they would offer you the protection you desire and not cut down on visibilty. Does anyone know if these are still available?
