I have a 2000 gt with a 5 speed,cai,pp,3.90 gears plenum,70 mm accufab tb and stock exhaust with the cats punched out and I get 380 if it's straight highway and anywhere from 280-320 with mixed city. Just city gets me 250. I also have a 91 octane sct tune uploaded into it. I have 75k on er. Runs like a champ. However if I really put my foot into it I can drop that to 200 in a hurry. After I put the gears in my city mileage improved and I didn't notice a highway mpg loss. I guess it takes less pedal pressure now to get to and maintain speed. I also use amsoil synthetic 2 stroke or torco 2 stroke oil as an upper cylinder lube. About 3-4 ounces per tank. Seem to help the offset of ethanol when I can't find a station with pure fuel.

1997 GT pretty much stock with a borla cat-back auto, 20mpg combined

2003 Cobra pulley, tune, catback, cold air kit 22mpg combined

I have a feeling that having six gears helps the mpgs quite a bit in the cobra. The gt is kinda a pig on gas for a 215hp car lol

I have a scan gage and It usually shows 24-25 mpg average. I have reset it and got over 27 on a 300 mile trip (highway). Around town the worst i see is 22 (I am not a stoplight to stoplight ricer..I mean racer). I can usually hit 150+ miles at half a tank (indicated). The worst I ever got was 4 days of driving to Barber Motorsport Park and open tracking 30 min. each day....15 mpg.

With just a K&N CAI and Borla Stinger cats, my '02 GT gets at least 20mpg from mixed hwy/city while under normal driving, but who drives 'normal'.

Tacbear, that is one sick ride ya got there! I've always loved the white wheels on white car combo

I got it mounted in the car and
I mostly use it for Air Inlet Temp... but it does a lot more. I like having it and I think it was worth the price (I think they are about $169).

I have a 1994 Mustang 5.0 that has a gt-40p intake 70mm t/b and headers with open 2 1/2" exhaust, no egr, a/c, 5-speed, and custom tune. I usually get around 275-325 miles on a tank depending on how much I get into her.
