Gain horsepower

I just recently bought a 2003 mustang GT, the car already has a BBK intake, H pipe flowmaster super 40's. The car is automatic, and I would like to know what should be my next investment on improving horsepower and torque?

-Thank you

I ran 3.73 and 4.10 gears on that year, go with 3.73s from FRPP.
If you get the SCT tuner from American Muscle they offer free tunes for life, so you can get the 22ish HP gain from the tune and then update the tune whenever you get something new. You will need a tuner for the 3.73 gears to correct the speedometer, and shift points of an automatic.

+1 on the 3.73s... And the FRPP ones tend to be the quietest and least problematic IMO... That with an SCT tune will be like a new car for you for a reasonable amount of $

Why kind of tuner will I need for the speedometer, are the gears simple to install, or would I have to get them professionally installed, how does getting a custom tune from American muscle work?

The SCT tuner has an option for gears/axle ratio, the 2003 has electronic speedometer with a mechanical face.
Gears are not simple to install, they are one of the 2 things I will not do myself.
You buy a tuner from AM, they will ask you a bunch of questions online about your car, they then send you the tuner with 3 tunes loaded. A street tune, a performance tune, and a race tune, all at whatever octane you want. If you get something new on your car just go back and let them know and they will e-mail you an updated tune. Load new tunes onto tuner and then car.
The BBK CAI is good and it's cheaper than most. It will give you a nice intake "hiss". It keeps the filter in the fenderwell which is good and bad. The best CAI would probably be Steeda, but it's about $100 more.

How much do you think installing gears would cost me?

It really depends, I've seen quality installs done for as cheap as $300. Expect to pay $400-750, I know thats a big range but thats how it goes for gears

Exactly where I would have sent ya!
They are under Drivetrain. They have kits that have tuners, if you want to take care of everything at once.
