It depends on what you want... after owning both a 1990 GT and a 1999 GT i prefer the 1999 GT...

I think what you need to figure out is what do you want from a car?

If its all out performance with sacrifices in the interior styling, quality and all, then the fox body is great since you have such a huge aftermarket for them. If its a good ride, nicer interior, nicer outside looks, and good power out of the box, i'd stick with the late model.

Grass always seems greener on the other side.

I'm guessing your GT is an auto.....I'd just wait for a Mach 5spd, 99+ GT 5spd, or another year come down to a respectable price.

Ain't notihin wrong with a fox's interior OR exterior styling! Its an opinion thing of course, but I actually think the fox interior (gray or black, not porno red) is better looking than a new edge and the shifter is a lot closer...plus, when people sit in my car they don't confuse it for a 4x4....ZING!

HAYOOOO!

Foxes dont look as "nice" but imo they are more badarse than any sn95 GT could ever be.

I have had both. I currently drive a 95 gt, but my last one was a 88. The 95 is a lot smoother and more refined car, but the 88 was a quicker in a straight line.
