Finished zex install

Well it took me quite a few days since I only worked on it for a couple hours at a time. I installed one step colder spark plugs as well as the zex wet kit. Right now I'm only using a 75 bump on a bama tune. I will go to the 100 shot and not go any higher. I have the window switch I stalled and set to come on at 3100 rpm then turn off at 5300. It's much smoother when it comes in than what I expected. Still need a few more items.(gauge for the bottle, bottle heater, purge, fuel pressure gauge). Easily the best bang for the buck horsepower.

That's awesome! I bet it rips with the 75 shot set up. Do you plan on taking it to the track? Let us know if you ever have any questions or need some assistance in the near future.

Thanks Dan, yes the 75 shot feels great when it comes on. Hoping to get it down to the strip sooner than later and do a run with the spray and one without. Just received the 100 shot tune from you guys the other day. Just have to download it and load it to the ecu. Then swap out the jets. I still have to give u guys more money though cuz I need more stuff for my setup. I was really please with the zex kit as it is very complete and has everything needed for Install. The only issue I had was with the window switch I purchased elsewhere. I was told by the manufacturer that I would not need a tach adapter for the switch. Of course after I installed the switch I quickly realized a tach adapter was needed. I highly recommend this kit to anyone.

Let me start with i've never had nitrous, do you even feel a 75 shot? In one of the photos the lines are in an over 90* bend, is that ok?

Yeah I mean it equates to about 60 or so hp at the wheels all of the sudden. It is noticeable. Really fun as well. I think the angle is not an issue. If it is it doesn't seem to be affecting functionality

This is the goal I'm shooting for by this summer! Do you think I should let a performance shop install or should I because I've installed all of my bolt ons myself cold air intake, BBK plenum, under drive pulleys and 4:10 gears. Just wondering would the ZEX kit be difficult?

If you installed gears by yourself then I see no issues at all with nitrous install. It's pretty simple and straight forward. Certain parts are a pain but all in all it's not bad at all
