engine block/head question.

Anyone know of 2v heads will fit on 96-01 cobra block or 4v heads will fit a 99 gt iron block?

I am really looking to see if 2v fits aluminum. I have no imediate plans for this but i want to build a new engine for my car.

teksid aluminum block.
ported 2v heads.
ported typhoon intake.
single turbo.

Of course this is more of a dream project at this time, but just wanting to know if this combo is possible.

You would be giving up alot of air and ponies if you could put 2v heads on a cobra block. Not only that but im pretty sure you have a forged rotating assembly. If you want to put anything on that car put a kenne bell twin screw on it lol.

i didn't list it there but if i did soi would be putting in a new rotating assembly.

kenne bell isn't as efficent as a turbo so no.

you talking about if i pulled heads off the 4v to get the block?

I wouldn't buy a complete 4v engine i would prob just buy the block.

Too bad no one can answer me on if the 2v heads will bolt up.

If all you're looking for is the aluminum block, why not go with a 2V out of an explorer?

(You have to scroll down about half the page.

KarKraft has them. Sounds like a better plan to me.

I'm not sure how much power the aluminum explorer block can handle. want something that can handle 800+hp so i don't have to upgrade a second time once everything got going. hmm they do mention that the block is a good one. if i could get a 3v in my 99 i would be even happier. wonder how much work it would be to rewire the car with a 05 ecu and everything.
