Went and drove an 04 Mustang vert today manual. I've been trying to decide if I wanted an 05 vert or coupe and since I hadn't driven a vert before or a Mustang since I sold my 95 I thought I would check it out. I was suprised it was quieter than I thought it would be and the chasis was also tighter than I expected. It also had more torque than I expected and the trans was nice also. Overall I was very pleased my 89 5.0 was much rougher and my 95 was under powered and had an anoying squeal that I couldn't locate. I have decided that if an 04 vert is this good the 05 is going to  When can I order my vert

The 04 isn't a bad car, but I'm sure the 05s will be a LOT better.

Wait for the 05 vert...my 03 vert is starting to get sqeeks and rattles all over the friggin place. It only has 4500 miles on it. Nothing like a quality, well made product, not! I guarantee the 05 vert will be 100% better!!!! My 03 will be going away in 07!!!

I've got a 95 GT vert and I can live with its faults. Thing of how much better looking and better built, not to mention the power increase, the new Mustang will be.

Hey, maybe down the road I'll be able to get options like IRS and a 5 speed manumatic. I dream on...

Yes, i agree that you should wait -- heck, you'll be ahead of the curve since the 2005 will look like the current gen for another 6-7 years. Get an 04 and it looks dated already, know what I mean?
